In my sophmore year of high school I filled a notebook with sketches, circa 1980.
Many were quite good, just before someone ripped it off, the back cover fell off.
This piece I had painted there was one of my least favorites in the whole book.
Later someone convinced me it wasn't all that bad in it's own right.
I feel it is one of my most morose pieces, and did not at all capture the intended exuberance.
